Publix – Miami Beach, FL. What a wasted piece of advertising. If she ever wants to use this in her modeling portfolio, good luck. Do you think the designer was used again? Is this all the Publix brand could afford? Did the individual who approved the box design get canned?
It made me laugh enough to capture it on iPhone. Enjoy.

Keelah & the Mystery
I spent the last hour attempting to identify this creature online. I google searched:
- Caterpillars in Florida
- Neon Caterpillars in Florida
- Black and Neon Caterpillars in Florida
- Black and Neon Caterpillars with Red Heads in Florida
- Red Headed Caterpillars in Florida
- Red Headed Step-Children
- Common Butterflies in Florida
- Common Moths in Florida
- Caterpillar with a Head That Looks Like a Penis (The results were frightening as you can imagine; albeit nothing to do with caterpillars, I especially liked this photo)
- Caterpillar Identification
- Butterfly Caterpillars
- Moth Caterpillars
- Bat Caterpillars (that one was for you Danny)
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar, a fantastic book by Eric Carle and also, frightenly similar to that above:

Hungry Caterpillar
With no luck on my search, I came to the conclusion that he is a very stylish import. I live in South Beach, I should have guessed.

Banana to Bacon
I clearly remember the day at my grandparent’s farm when my brother broke the news. I was 5 years old, maybe 6. It was breakfast and I was telling grandpa how excited I was to feed the weeds to the new baby piggies when my teenage brother pointed at my plate and clearly stated, “you’re eating those baby piggies!”. I was perplexed, to say the least. How did baby piggies with their velvet snouts and curly tails equal heavenly, salty, delicious bacon? I [obviously] got over it.
You may be confused by the photo, but you see, this morning on a walk I saw this bunch of bananas. Or plantains, or whatever. In Alberta, Canada, we’re lucky to grow a raspberry so to this day, I am in awe of food on plant; production of food from nature still amazes me. Tree = sweet banana. Piggy = sweet bacon.
I’m hungry. m1am1

4 months ago and 10538 miles from the Grand-Motherload [seaport to seaport], I spent a pleasant day in quaint Villefranche, France. I drank French wine, ate mussels and French fries, said my s’il vous plait’s and merci‘s and played tourist with my camera. I stumbled upon their Sunday sale. It goes to show that even a world away, crap is still crap. Or, shall I say: la merde est toujours merde.
Bonne nuit, m1am1
P.S. When you internet-translate that back to English, it comes back: the shit is always shit.

This weekend, my family are hosting a massive estate sale in the backyard of my granny’s house. There’s going to be all sorts of cheap crap for sale! It starts by 10:00 am Saturday. Email me for the address.

Best regards,
Myles

I’ve started blogs on a variety of subjects in the past that have been topical but have not lasted… So, I figured, I might as well combine everything that I am interested in into one place and see what people like…
I hope that this really takes off!
